priorities

Economy

Michigan’s workforce must be ready to lead in the 21st Century. From reinvesting in trades education to reevaluating laws that inhibit talent attraction, our economic competitiveness must be a priority. We must combat rampant inflation and make sure our residents don’t lose access to everyday necessities.

Healthcare

For too long, regulators have allowed pharmaceutical companies to extort Michiganders who rely on them for life-saving prescription drugs. We must end this practice and increase access to all healthcare: from insulin to PrEP, freedom from our gun violence epidemic to freedom of choice in reproductive healthcare.

Transportation

We must finally act to create cohesive, comprehensive public transportation in Metro Detroit. Rochester Hills had always opted-out of our SMART bus system, but the Auburn Hills City Council just voted against the will of the vast majority of its own residents to opt-out of SMART also. For the sake of everyone who wants to live, work, shop, and enjoy our amazing community, we need county-wide transportation action now.
