Below are just a few special highlights of the work he has done.

Oakland County Legislative Record

In 2022, Brendan was elected to the Oakland County Commission to represent Auburn Hills and Rochester Hills. In doing so, he flipped the seat red to blue and became the youngest county-level elected official in Metro Detroit.

He serves as Chair of Transit and of Legislative Affairs, and has been instrumental in passing several major initiatives at the County.

Michigan House Of Representatives Legislative Record

From 2020 through 2025, Brendan staffed in the Michigan House of Representative, primarily as Chief of Staff for State Representative Samantha Steckloff (D-Farmington Hills). While there, he helped write and pass well over a dozen bills into law.
